Torres Shire Council Meeting

Horn Island - Tuesday, 20 October 2009

Torres Shire Council advises that its monthly Ordinary Meeting for October will be held at the Ngurupai Sports Complex, Horn Island commencing at 9.00am.

As is normal for all Council monthly Ordinary Meetings, a Meeting Agenda is available at the Council Office on the Friday prior to the Tuesday meeting.

Any member of the public wishing to make a Deputation/Representation to this respective Council meeting must register Nola Ward Page, Executive Secretary on Ph 4069 1336 before 13 October 2009.

Registered Deputations will be heard between 11am to 12 noon on this meeting day.

Any correspondence for Council’s consideration must be received and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 171, Thursday Island at least seven (7) working days prior to each Council Meeting.

Residents are welcome to attend as an audience and be part of the Public Gallery but they cannot partake in the meeting.
