COVID-19 update

The Shire is very aware of the community’s concern regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and specifically suggestions that it is in the region. “Queensland Health has confirmed today that there are currently ZERO COVID-19 cases in the region and that the only COVID-19 cases in Queensland are in the South-East”, said Mrs. Yorkston, Chief Executive Officer. “Council will continue to actively monitor the situation and will keep the community up to date on a regular basis on its Facebook and website pages”. Mrs. Yorkston concluded, “It is important that all members of the community continue to adhere to social distancing and personal hygiene measures”.
