Announcement of 2022 Winds of Zenadth Cultural Festival
Torres Shire Council wishes to advise our community and our region that Council has encountered a number of logistical obstacles that have significantly impacted on the scope, scale and timing of this year’s Winds of Zenadth Cultural Festival. Because of these obstacles, Council has made a very hard decision to postpone the Festival until 2023. Council acknowledges that many of our community members, particularly from the outer islands have been preparing to be a part of the Festival. We apologise if any inconvenience has been caused. The logistical issues encountered have been beyond Council’s control and we thank you for your understanding. Our Festival is a significant occasion and we look forward to seeing you all at our Festival in 2023. On behalf of the Torres Shire Indigenous Advisory Committee, please accept our sincere apology. A new date for the Winds of Zenadth Cultural Festival 2023 will be announced in the next coming days.
