Torres Shire Council has prepared an interim amendment to the Torres Shire Council Local Government Infrastructure Plan (the LGIP). The proposed interim LGIP amendment will align the LGIP with the proposed Torres Shire Council Planning Scheme.
The proposed interim LGIP amendment is currently subject to public consultation. Any person may make a submission to Torres Shire Council about the proposed interim LGIP amendment during the submission period of Monday 9 November 2020 to Tuesday 9 February 2021.
Submissions can be made in writing to Torres Shire Council. A submission can also be made using the online form available here
The proposed Torres Shire Council Planning Scheme is also currently subject to public consultation.
